Fun Run.

Today was our Fun Run Day.

We had so much fun.

We cheered for the big kids.

Then it was our turn to run.

We ran around the field.
We had to go in the hoops, under the net, on the trampoline, over the hurdles and to the finish line.

It was so much fun!

We will add our stories about the Fun Run soon.

The library

Today we went to the library.

We took back our books and looked at some new ones.

You have to be very gentle with the books in the library.

You have to try and read the books with a friend or by yourself.

We like the library.

Word Power!

We have been learning how to read and write little words.

Everyday we practice reading and writing our words.

Today we tried to write as many words as we could without copying.

We are really proud of our writing.

Today Room 18 was very excited.  Mrs Maguire, our Deputy Principal, came to read to us.

Mrs Maguire reads our blog a lot, so it was very special for her to come to read to us.




She read us "If you're happy and you know it!"

She bought this story when she was in Australia.

It was a cool story.

It was a funny story.

We pretended to be the animals in the story.



"My favourite animal was the crocodile.  He snapped his fangs." said Corde.


"My favourite animal was the Tassie Devil.  He was angry and growled." said Ricky.

"My favourite animal was the Koala. He was sleeping." said Marley.

Drums, drums and more drums!

Today during our discovery time, Mrs Rees (Room 17's teacher) put out some drums.


Ricky, Kahleol, Faith and C'zin enjoyed the drums.  They spent a long time creating music together.


Many other children enjoyed listening to their music, even dancing along while they played.
